Introduction

Health-care & Age-care facilities currently require a range of different machines in order to move patients depending on the type of lift required and on the weight of the patient. Sometimes a facility may be required to have up to three or more different types of machines, many of them going unused for long periods of time. 

The LeazyLift reduces the need for excess machines by providing the full range of functionality within one device. It can provide both stand-up assisted lift and fully supported lifting needs, regardless of a patient’s size or weight. This is achieved by the patented four lifting points combined with two separate lifting arms which allow for extra stability, safety and control.  Existing lifters must also be physically pushed, often by two staff, substantially increasing costs and the risk of back or strain injuries. 

LeazyLift, can be driven by a single operator via a simple joystick control, without the need for physical strain. This reduces the potential for back injury along with the number of operators required to use the machine. It also allows the machine to be used on soft flooring surfaces, like carpet, where other machines become impossible to move.
